Our main laboratory is in IIT Powai, Mumbai. Rossari Biotech Limited constructed this facility for the purpose of insuring quality control, expanding research and development, and providing laboratory backup for our clients working on projects.

The Liquid Mud Plant is in place for one primary purpose and that is to keep good drilling mud properties in the wellbore as much as possible. Within each drilling fluids supply base, you can usually find what “Mud” companies are working offshore from this base as they are represented in the form of a Liquid Mud Plant. This liquid mud plant is used to manipulate (mix, dilute, treat, adjust) various drilling fluids to be used in wells supported by this Supply Base. You can also find expanded drilling waste management (DWM) or solids control processing for drilling mud here, typically in the form of decanter centrifuges used to treat used mud that has been back loaded to the supply base. Offshore supply vessels are used to transport any drilling or completion fluids to and from the Liquid Mud Plant that cannot be mixed up or treated on location.
The Vertical Cutting Dryer uses centrifugal force to dry drilled solids in oil or synthetic base fluids. A stainless-steel screen bowl traps “wet” solids and accelerates them up 900RPM with G force to 420G. Liquid is forced through the screen bowl openings, while “dry” solids are extracted by the angled flights attached to the cone, which rotate slightly slower than the bowl. Tungsten carbide protects the flights from abrasive solids and ensures long operational life. This aids in maintaining a constant gap between the scroll and screen bowl, which is crucial for proper operation.
